【TEGO Wet HH^®5380】

HH5380 silicone oil is a low viscosity, non-ionic polyoxyethylene modified polydimethylsiloxane, which is a surfactant with high energy efficiency and low surface energy. It is used to improve the wettability, ductility, permeability and surface tension of the construction substrate. The product has fast wetting base material, excellent hydrolysis resistance, and is suitable for the addition of water-based system or water-oil mixture system. The addition of the wetting agent to 0.1 weight percent can effectively reduce the surface energy.

Solubility: it can be dispersed in water, alcohol, ether and other conventional solvents.

The addition amount of HD5380 additive is generally 0.1 to 1% of the total formula weight. This additive can be added in grinding, preparation or final stage. Comprehensive tests should be conducted before production to ensure expected performance.
